MOUNTAIN WEST REGIONAL CONVENTION
October 10-12, 2019
A CALL TO CONVENTION
Our Mountain West Regional Convention convenes on October 10, 2019. We are calling on all interested parties to submit proposed training they would like to see given during our training periods on Friday and Saturday of the convention. Certain topics have already been discussed, however any ideas not able to be incorporated in this year's convention will be submitted for consideration in future conventions.

2020 REGIONAL CONVENTON
The committee is asking for a club or group to consider hosting the 2020 Regional Convention. Since the 2018 and 2019 conventions were and will be held in Colorado, other locations in California, Arizona, Nevada or New Mexico would be welcomed. Time will be allocated in the program this year to make presentations for the location.
MEAL CHOICES
We have been asked to provide details of the Saturday evening meal choices, so here they are:
Maple Mustard Glazed Chicken with Green Bean Bundles and Whipped Potatoes.
Mountain Trout with Cauliflower Puree, Bacon Brussel Sprouts and Whiskey Walnut Reduction.
Vegetarian option is: Gnocchi Potato Pasta with Arugula, Roasted Tomatoes, Asparagus and Lemon Goat Cheese Cream.
Please notify Dave Oppenheim of your meal choice when sending in your registration or call him if you have already sent in your registration.

We are expanding the size of the room for the Thursday evening concert to allow Sertomans to invite more than one guest.
The capacity however, is still limited, so please notify Dave Oppenheim with your number of guests ASAP. ([email protected])

Remember, all guests will be charged $15.00.
THURSDAY EVENING EVENT
For those individuals not fully registered for the convention, there will be a $15.00 charge for attending the Thursday evening event. In order for us to know how much food to provide for those extra guests, we ask that you notify Dave Oppenheim at [email protected] with the number of guests.
REMINDER: Registration fee increases from $165 t0 $175 on September 1.

4. You will need a ride from the Arapahoe Rd Light Rail Station to the Embassy Suites Hotel.
5. The hotel shuttle runs from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM, Monday – Saturday, based on availability. It ONLY has 7 seats and picks-up and drops-off guests within 5 miles of the hotel. Park Meadows mall, the light rail and restaurants are within 5 miles. Call Embassy Suites (303-792-0433), when your light rail train reaches the “Dayton Station,” and ask to get picked-up by the hotel shuttle at the "Arapahoe Rd at Village Center Station". A 7:00 AM pick-up can be scheduled ahead of time.

2019 Mountain West Regional Convention Update

The Thursday evening mixer at the Regional Convention will not only give you the opportunity to spend time with your existing Sertoma friends as well as a chance to make new friends but it will provide an entertainment venue for the evening that you will thoroughly enjoy and which will remain in your memory for a very long time. The convention committee has managed to secure the FACE vocal band for your entertainment.
FACE is an internationally acclaimed all-vocal band who have been captivating audiences for over a decade with their infectious energy punctuated by an endearing love of performance. Blending modern popular tunes with complex harmonies, brilliant rhythms and superb singing, FACE will take you on a wonderful musical journey. This team of singers has performed over 100 shows per year around the world.
Outside sponsorship money has been obtained for the concert, so there is no cost to attendees.
Plan to schedule your arrival at the Embassy Suites Hotel in time to hear this great band perform at 7:30 on Thursday evening.

The dinner is either chicken, trout or vegetarian. When sending in your registration form please write in your meal choice where it can easily be seen.
